CIKOPIK is a language camp project carried out during the fall of 2023. The Mapachee family welcomed around twenty people to their ancestral territory for a few days, to give themselves space to speak their language, Anicinabemowin. In this capsule, Alice Jérôme tells us a story that happened to her.

For Akines Papatie, the moral of Alice's story is that we all fall into the water at some point in life. It's up to us to figure out how to survive. To each their challenges, « to each their history ».
