CIKOPIK is a language camp project carried out during the fall of 2023. The Mapachee family welcomed around twenty people to their ancestral territory for a few days, to give themselves space to speak their language, Anicinabemowin. In this video, André Mowatt, an Anicinabe elder, tells an ancestral story about animals and the appearance of their fat.
