CIKOPIK is a language camp project carried out during the fall of 2023. The Mapachee family welcomed around twenty people to their ancestral territory for a few days, to give themselves space to speak their language, Anicinabemowin. In this video, Élizabeth Mapachee remembers family memories, of when she was a young girl.
NITOTENAM means "my family" in Anicinabemowin.
