Description
Photograph of a woman preparing banik while two people are watching. Banik is a bread made from flour and baking powder which can be fried (sacou) or boiled (kepanakatouna) with meat or oven baked. It can be cooked with baby beaver grease or garnished with raisins or blueberries - a specialty from Kitcisakik.
